Cubicle 7 publishes the tabletop roleplaying games for Warhammer Fantasy Role-Play, Warhammer Soulbound, Warhammer 40K Imperium Maledictum and Warhammer 40K Wrath & Glory.
The Irish publisher picked up Warhammer 40K Wrath & Glory after Games Workshop showed it could and would change publishers, moving the license from Ulisses North America.
In a Facebook post in the last hour, Cubicle 7 confirmed they would be working with Games Workshop “long into the future” thanks to a new licensing agreement. They also said,
We’re Nurgling-level excited to be collaborating with the Warhammer Studio team to continue exploring the worlds of Warhammer. We’ll reveal more news of our future plan over the coming months. One of the early questions from Warhammer fans was whether this would mean more speedy foreign translations, and the news was not as good. Cubicle 7 admitted;
… we don’t have control over how quickly the translations are completed and accepted, unfortunately. Hopefully the books you’re waiting for will be ready soon.
Cubicle 7, who recently raised €53K for the Children’s Health Foundation, has recently, wisely, been busy on their Doctor Who RPG license, announced the return of their Laundry Files license, and just today announced the 5e A Life Well Lived.
