Autumn and Winter, or Fall, here in the Northern Hemisphere or, as I like to think of it – coat season. I’ll still wear geeky t-shirts to work, but now, for warmth, I have to put an extra layer on.
Fun.com, those swines are tempting me! At first I thought the Friday the 13th blazer (UK) was perfect but then I noticed the Gremlins blazer (also in the UK). Let’s take a closer look.
Friday the 13th secret blazer
[I need!]
Fun says;
This blazer is perfect for your place of business. The blazer’s outside will have you looking like a true professional. However the inside is where all the fun resides.
They’re spot on. That’s precisely why I’d want the jacket.
Jason Voorhees is a busy man, and perhaps you could invite him into the office to talk to the staff about productivity? You might be considering this as the biggest Friday the 13th fan, but think twice. He’s a slasher icon, after all. Why would he want to spend his time with you? Besides, you’d have to explain to your boss why half your coworkers are suddenly missing or have mysteriously suffered “accidents.” HR would have to get involved.
Me? I think this blazer would be an excellent one to wear to an awards dinner do – whether you won, or not.
Note: The next Friday the 13th is in October. Oh yes, it’s coming.
Gremlins secret blazer
Okay, once again, team Fun beat me to the joke I’d have made, and they say,
Don’t worry about wearing this blazer after midnight, or getting it wet. You won’t have any terrible consequences to deal with.
I think it depends on how wet you got the jacket!
Jason and the Gremlins cost £($)59, which is a lot and not much for a jacket.
They’re a mix of (mainly) polyester, with some (35%) rayon and a little spandex for the liner. There are two pockets in the front lining and three on the outside.
Fun has the license and makes the jackets themselves, so it’s pleasing to see both available in the UK stores. Also, as noted, I’m most tempted by the gremlins because I’m more chaotic than relentless.
