Just a reminder that No One Will Save You is now out to stream on Hulu – despite being originally intended for the big screen – and now it’s got the support of Stephen King and Guillermo del Toro.
I’ve got to say, I watched the trailer for this and got excited. It looks like an incredibly well-made film, and I’m just glad we get to see it at all. This has just moved straight to the top of my list of things to watch… now, if only I actually get the time to see it!
Now, since Stephen King leant his praise to The Dark Tower movie, I’m not afraid to admit I may have been taking anything he says with a pinch of salt (sorry if you ever read this, sai King), but I well believe him on this one.
I also believe Guillermo del Toro doesn’t just, ermmmm… blow smoke without fire, or… something like that. He knows his stuff.
The story follows “a creative and talented young woman who’s been alienated from her community. Lonely but ever hopeful, Brynn finds solace within the walls of the home where she grew up—until she’s awakened one night by strange noises from decidedly unearthly intruders.”
What happens next is an “action-packed face-off between Brynn and a host of extraterrestrial beings who threaten her future while forcing her to deal with her past.”
Here’s the link to the clip that initially gave me shivers and made me think YES, I NEED to watch this!
