The male character in Berserk of Gluttony is called “Fate Graphite” and seems to have a destiny.
Fate is one of the forsaken, which means he is always hungry, and I know the feeling. Fate, though, kills a man, a dying thief and takes his strength. He eats it, he eats the man’s soul, and this act awakens the true hunger and power of the Gluttony skill.
If Fate can control this skill, then perhaps he’ll be able to control his destiny.
Berserk of Gluttony took the route of a story to novel, a more significant format novel, then manga and now anime.
There’s also this cute short mini Berserk of Gluttony to stream for free, except there are no subtitles and therefore does not give talentless lingoidiots like me much to work with except introduce Roxy, another key character.
The anime starts in Japan on October 1st, running on a semi-exclusive until October 4th. That’s when Crunchyroll gets to run the series outside of India and Asia.
Orient director Tetsuya Yanagisawa is at the helm at Studio ACGT.
