TruffleShuffle’s marketing shows that they’re proud to have landed the Loungefly Worm cosplay mini backpack. The geeky retailer says they made it in conjunction with the famous merch maker.
They’re right to be proud as the blue Worm looks great if a little chubby. Oh, boy, our cute hero is expensive, though, at £85 and excluded from all promotions.
The bag is 23cm wide by 27cm high and about 11.5cm deep, and it’s vegan-friendly, with faux saffiano leather material. There are little printed details, that cup of tea metal zipper charm, and the Loungefly metal badge.
The insides of the mini backpack have Labyrinth-themed fabric, and the shoulder straps are adjustable and padded.
TruffleShuffle has a worldwide exclusive.
The Worm in Labyrinth is a small, green Muppet character who lives in the labyrinth created by the Goblin King, Jareth. He is voiced by Timothy Bateson and puppeteered by Karen Prell.
Sarah encounters the Worm early in her journey through the labyrinth. She feels discouraged and lost, but the Worm helps her realize that she is not alone and that there is a way out. He also gives her some helpful advice, such as telling her to “look harder” for the gaps in the walls.
The Worm is a kind and helpful creature who plays a vital role in Sarah’s journey. He represents the hope and guidance that she needs to succeed.
In addition to his role in the film, the Worm has become a popular character in Labyrinth fandom. He has been featured in fan art, fan fiction, and even cosplay. He is a reminder that even the smallest and most unlikely creatures can be helpful and supportive.
