There are well over a thousand backers for the return of John Goff’s nightmare weird west adventure. Night Train turns 25 this year.
Pinnacle Entertainment Group (PEG) have the Savage Worlds Adventure Edition and anniversary update of Night Train on Kickstarter.
Imagine a steam train full of feral vampires pulling into your weird western down, flinging open its doors and letting loose with the deadly chaos.
Could you survive?
For years, tabletop groups and convention-goers have struggled.
The 25th anniversary edition comes in a boxed set with a 72-page softcover, and that’s the first time with Savage Worlds. The For Whom the Whistle Blows sequel is included.
Laminated and die-cut pawns are included to represent townsfolk and vampires, ideal for the double-sided combat maps that come with the deal. There’s even a commemorative wild die decorated with a locomotive.
This Kickstarter brings John Goff’s deadly masterpiece back into the light, updated for Savage Worlds Adventure Edition and with gorgeous new art and accessories to bring the fun to (un)life! If you’ve never played this classic and much beloved adventure, this is your chance to jump aboard! If you’ve ridden the rails before and are brave enough to return, you’ll find all new extras that make this the definitive experience.
The digital edition, complete with the Deadlands: Dome Novels, is given to backers who contribute $25 or more.
Backers who can offer $50 or more get the physical editions too.
Deadlands: The Weird West Boxed Set is added at the $150 tier, but that’s nothing compared to the goodies ready for those generous folks who can pony up $500.
PEG estimate the digital versions will ship in December 2023, the Night Train box set and the other physical books in June 2024.
Potential backers have until Friday the 3rd of November to get involved.
