Looking for something new to play? In which case, check out The Fabulous Fear Machine, a new table-top-style espionage-driven game where you have to use the power of propaganda to drive people to distraction and achieve your evil aims.
It’s a top-down management sim brought to you by Fictiorama Studios in partnership with AMC and Shudder… and it looks wild.
I’ve got to say, this one managed to completely slip my radar until recently, but what piqued my interest was the pulp comic look and the sheer premise of this thing.
Imagine being able to persuade the voting public to gift wrap a country’s healthcare so your character’s evil pharmaceutical corporation can thrive (totally unthinkable, we know!).

The writing sounds incredible, and although it’s a completely different style of game, there’s something reminiscent of Disco Elysium in there… and I absolutely love games that make you think.
Of course, you’re going to be thwarted by your rivals and enemies, and have to do a fair bit of tinkering to carry your sinister plans to fruition – but that’s all part of the fun.
This game is heading straight to the top of my list!
You can pick up The Fabulous Fear Machine on Steam right now for just £14.99.
