Unique Dice are back on Kickstarter with a new version of their roulette dice. This time round the Chinese company are doing a Christmas theme, though I spotted steampunk too, and promise if you full your backer response in swiftly enough you’ll get them in time for Christmas.
Kickstarter has given the “Project We Love” badge the crowdfunder and nearly two hundred backers have offered more than $16,000. The funding goal was $3,000 and there’s still weeks to run on the live project.
The roulette dice’s premise is straightforward: it’s a set of discs and a pointer which spin around to select numbers rather than bounce across the table like dice. I see the attraction.
There’s a range of Christmas colour themes. The Steampunk style, which has five colour tones, is in the add-ons where you can also find traditional dice.
The spinners do the full tabletop RPG dice range with d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20 and a D%.

There are early bird offers live right now, and Geek Native usually skips over those as it’s frustrating to read a blog post about an offer you’ve missed out on. However, there are only early bird offers available at the time of writing so here goes;
Called the ‘super early bird’ and limited to 200, there are the Golden Christmas Red, Golden Christmas Green, Silver Christmas Red and Silver Christmas Green tiers. Each one unlocks for backers who pledge $49 or more and gets you one of the second version of the Roulette Dice spinners.
Alternatively, backers who pledge $196 can get a set of all four spinners.

Unique Dice has put November 2023 down as the estimated delivery for the project.
