There’s a lot of Forgotten Runes and more on the way. There’s the comic book series by Joe Rechtman and Reilly Brown, a Forgotten Runiverse MMORPG and even a forthcoming animated series from Derek Kolstad.
Kolstald created the John Wick and may still be doing a D&D TV series.
However, there’s no need to wait as there are Kindle editions of Forgotten Runes already available.
Titan Books is bringing the series to print. It’s due in November, and there’s an exclusive in-game code worth $20 with each issue #1.
The story begins with a seemingly unconnected series of fantastic tales about disparate wizards:
- Archmagus Crowley of Atlantis is hired to steal a treasure chest from a ship in the middle of the ocean.
- Mystic Willow of the Brambles is wrongfully accused of abducting children by the humans in a nearby village.
- Alchemist Danny of the Fey’s apprentice, begins to suspect her master has been kidnapped and replaced with an imposter.
However, these tales gradually merge into a much larger and more dramatic story. Who is Chronomancer George of Dreams, the mysterious narrator guiding us through each story? Are they visions of the past, premonitions of the future, or something far more sinister threatening the very fabric of the Runiverse?
