I admit I get Bioshock Little Sister and Big Daddy vibes from this Morph Digital Dudz mask at Cazaar.
Why? It’s a deep-diving old-school mask. The Digital Dudz touch is that there’s an animated fish through the face grill.
You must pop your phone or a backup in the Halloween mask yourself. The app is free, but you don’t get the hardware with the mask.
What are Big Daddies?
Big Daddies are heavily spliced (genetically engineered and altered with ADAM) human beings who have had their bodies directly grafted into heavily armoured, steampunk-inspired atmospheric diving suits. They are the primary protectors of Little Sisters, who gather ADAM from corpses.
Big Daddies are incredibly strong and durable, armed with various weapons, such as rivet guns, drills, and rocket launchers. They can also use plasmids, genetic enhancements that grant them superhuman abilities.
Big Daddies fiercely protect Little Sisters and will attack anyone threatening them. They are also programmed to obey the Little Sisters’ commands and will do whatever the Little Sisters ask of them.
The bond between a Big Daddy and a Little Sister is complex. The Little Sisters are conditioned to see the Big Daddies as their protectors and fathers, and they often refer to them as “Mr. Bubbles” or “Mr. B.” The Big Daddies, in turn, are programmed to care for the Little Sisters and to protect them from harm.
Big Daddies are one of the BioShock series’ most iconic and memorable elements. They are both terrifying and tragic figures, representing the dark side of Rapture’s obsession with ADAM.
In BioShock 2, the player is given the option to either harvest or rescue Little Sisters. Harvesting a Little Sister yields a large amount of ADAM, but it also results in the Little Sister’s death. Saving a Little Sister yields less ADAM but allows the Little Sister to live. The player’s choice has a significant impact on the game’s ending.
