There’s a scene in Beetlejuice where Adam and Barbara have decided to haunt their house and have to demo their spooky faces.
The eighth Mask of Halloween is the face that Adam pulled. Pulled.
Alec Baldwin and Geena Davis play the two, and I note the IMDB says Alec Baldwin is known for The Departed (2006), It’s Complicated (2009), The Cooler (2003) and Glengarry Glen Ross (1992).
That’s nonsense, right?
Surely he’s better known for 30 Rock and Beetlejuice or the 1980s The Doctors, perhaps even Mission: Impossible.
There’s a Beetlejuice 2 on the way
Beetlejuice 2 is set to be theatrically released on September 6, 2024, by Warner Bros. Pictures. However, due to the ongoing 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike, Warner is considering to delay the film’s release possibly to 2025.
Plot details are being kept under wraps, but it is known that the film will follow Lydia Deetz (Ryder) as an adult, with her now-teenage daughter (Ortega) moving into the Deetz house with her new family. Beetlejuice (Keaton) is also expected to return in a major role.
