Many gamers would answer “Mork Borg if asked what the darkest tabletop RPG they know. It’s a game where the world is sending, and the characters are there for what time is left.
Yes, Mork Borg can be surreal at times, but it’s a doom metal of an RPG at it’s heart and in its aesthetic and now Smörgasbörg dishes out cannibalism to it.
Published by The Flagellant & The Fool, who released the mini-game of duelling HEADS earlier this year, Smörgasbörg is described as the “All you can eat cannibal RPG.”
The $10 and 120-page supplement is out in time for Halloween, ready to land on your virtual table with gore and splatter. It doesn’t have to be restricted to Mork Borg, as the authors say it’s light enough to be easily ported to other RPG systems.
Inside the cannibal-adding supplement, which talks about munching and crunching a human lunch, there are 17 pages of classes which range from the humble Humanitarian to the fall from modest Temple to Wurm.
There are encounters at Hell’s Kitchen, seven restaurants, and 46 dungeon pages.
There’s also The Hunger Rules, which covers the addition of cannibalism.
