For Halloween, Modiphius has released 15 pages of free content for the Lovecraftian mythos and World War II RPG Achtung! Cthulhu.
It’s called Grimoire of Terror, written by Bill Heron and has rules for Djinn, Flying Polyp, Grand-Mere Cherie, Kelpies and Redcaps.
While you need the core rules to play, the Achtung! Cthulhu 2d20 quickstart is free, and we’re told these horrors can be readily adapted to other systems.
Mysteries of the Manor is a free, ready-made scenario for GMs who need a horror game on short notice this Halloween season.
Modiphius did this last year, and the original Halloween Horrors from last year is still available. It’s another eight pages.
Good news, there was a free adventure last year, and it’s The Malevolent Grove. It’s one scary location.
