I’m carving out a little time at night to watch more TV. I’ve even gotten to the end of the most recent Demon Slayer and am a few episodes into season 3 of The Mandalorian.
I know! Shockingly behind!
Fortunately, the JustWatch team are super keen to keep in the loop with what’s coming and going, what’s popular and who’s being sly with passwords.
US: Upcoming and vanishing TVs & Movies
We can see that Fingernails just landed, Culprits, Rustin, A Murder at the End of the World and a new Squid Game: The Challenge are coming to streaming channels in the States.
However, on the way out is a lot of Batman, Shaun of the Dead, V for Vendetta, Jurassic Park and Watchmen.
UK: Upcoming and vanishing TVs & Movies
Fingernails makes an appearance on this side of the pond, as will Lawmen: Bass Reeves, The Killer, A Murder at the End of the World and Dashing Through the Snow.
On the way out, and with somewhat weird timing given the series is making a return to the cinema screen, are The Hunger Games movies, Mission: Impossible and some James Bond.
US Streaming Charts
Meanwhile, we can see that Barbie and Spider-Man remain popular movies in the States with Loki, The Fall of the House of Usher and Gen V the TV shows with loads of interest.
UK Streaming Charts
John Wick 4, on my to-watch list, hits position 3 in the UK Movies behind Talk to Me and Boiling Point and here the House of Usher just makes the top five, with Loki, Bodies and Gen V making the top 3.
The Disney+ password crunch
As we’ve seen, Netflix had some success in defeating password sharing. Disney+ is predicted to follow.
JustWatch’s data suggests Disney+ has the most to gain, with 1 in 5 users in the US admitting that they use a shared password. That’s nearly twice as many as those who have access to someone’s Amazon account.
