Excellent news for music lovers! The Game Music Foundation has announced its return to the Royal Festival Hall, London, where it will present two new concerts based on scores from The Last of Us I & II and Baldur’s Gate III.
Those who can make it to London next May will be able to enjoy The Sounds of the Fireflies; an orchestral rendition of The Last of Us score, paired with The Symphony of the Realms, a symphonic concert featuring music from Baldur’s Gate 3.
That’s right; Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall will come alive with the beautiful sounds of video game music once more! But that’s not all; there’s also an educational programme scheduled on the same day that’ll allow music enthusiasts and aspiring composers to join masterclasses, panel discussions, and provide an opportunity to meet the brilliant minds behind the featured soundtracks.
