Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is an international humanitarian aid organization that delivers emergency medical aid to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters, or exclusion from healthcare.
Now, on DriveThruRPG, a group of tabletop RPG designers and publishers have put together a bundle deal to raise money for the group.
$154 worth of Fate, Monster of the Week, and Dungeons & Dragons games are available for just $10.
MSF’s mission is to provide impartial and neutral medical assistance to people in need, regardless of race, religion, gender, or political affiliation. The organization’s core principles are independence, impartiality, and neutrality.
MSF is independent of any government or political affiliation and funds its operations primarily through private donations. This independence allows MSF to work in conflict zones and other sensitive areas where other organizations may be unable to operate.
It’s easy to tell why a group like this appeals to independent game designers.
RPGs and supplements in the bundle include Hugh Lashbrooke’s Corporate Onboarding, which is a solo game about navigating corporate bureaucracy, and Sam Robson’s Cosy Wilds, which is a 5e compatible extension about building a world with systems for farms, magical tea and notes on having heart-to-hearts. Quite a contrast, huh?
Taleturn’s Paranormal Wellington is also in the deal in which PCs investigate supernatural instances while being recorded for an audience. gothHoblin’s Trash Pals is a rules-light indie game where players are a group of animals looking for, yep, trash, while The Frigid World of Illambria is another 5e supplement from Sam featuring wolly mammutida and sabertooth.
Note: Geek Native’s policy of re-donating any affiliate earned from charity drives.
