The Shadowrun Tarot Anthology book Drawing Destiny is the DriveThruFiction Deal of the Day and will be for hours.
The Tarot, a mystical divination deck of cards, has appeared in the Sixth World as a powerful artifact. It works its will on anyone who finds one of its magical cards, from runners surviving on the street to corp executives battling in the boardroom. And not just people’s lives will be changed, for the Awakened Tarot deck is more than just a formidable magic item, it has an agenda all its own, and will seek to use those it comes in contact with to set its plans in motion…
If you miss the deal and don’t fancy paying the full price for the Gold Bestseller perhaps one or more of the three new Shadowrun Sixth World new books from Catalyst Game Labs on DriveThruRPG might tempt you.
There’s a new core rulebook with the 342-paged PDF of the Berlin Edition of the Shadowrun, Sixth World RPG.
Catalyst says;
City Edition: Berlin contains the full, updated rules content of Shadowrun, Sixth World along with bonus pages of art, fiction, contacts, plot hooks, and other content to get players started in Berlin….
There’s some controversy since the original Sixth World core rules, the Seattle Edition sold like hot cakes while also provoking some negative comments for quality. It currently has a 3/5 star rating on DriveThruRPG.
In the discussion thread on DriveThruRPG, some fans asked whether people who purchased the Seattle Edition will get Berlin for free, as an upgrade or if they’ll have to buy the new book afresh.
However, these early fans were just a bit quick off the mark, or perhaps a Catalyst silently responded to good points, as people who bought Seattle have now been given Berlin for free. A few people have likely bought both in the time it took for the new edition to be distributed.
New editions are not the only new contributions to the growing Shadowrun RPG series, and Catalyst Game Labs have also published two sourcebooks.
The first is Scotophobia.
In science, scotophobia, also known as nyctophobia or lygophobia, is an extreme or irrational fear of the dark. It is a type of specific phobia, which is a type of anxiety disorder characterized by a persistent and excessive fear of a particular object or situation.
In the Shadowrun plot sourcebook, Scotophobia takes the game into a new story direction, with twists, turns, and crises to keep players busy. Why? In this universe, with its metaplanes, there are things in the dark…
The other, a setting focus, is Easy Come, Easy Go, and set in New Orleans.
New Orleans is a sprawling metropolis teeming with opportunities for both legitimate and illicit activities. For those seeking to operate in the shadows, the city offers a rich tapestry of underworld connections and lucrative contracts. However, navigating this intricate landscape requires a deep understanding of the city’s layout, demographics, and power structures. This comprehensive guide gives aspiring shadowrunners the essential knowledge to thrive in the Big Easy.
