The best for last? I’ve just noticed that Hasbro Jenga is dirt cheap in Amazon’s Black Friday sale.
I don’t have a set, and it means I can make the falling down/crumbling/toppling joke for the headline.
I also noticed that Amazon rates Jenga as the best-selling stacking game, inviting the question, “What other stacking games are there?”. The answer turns out to be Alkista, which is a highly gifted game, according to Amazon. It also looks like the original game was called iYePeng or that there’s an open clone in the store.
Why would I want Jenga? There’s an RPG called Dread, which uses Jenga as a system. It gets tense and challenging as the game progresses and blocks are removed.
Oh, yes, there’s even a Dread: Dredd that merges Dread into Judge Dredd.
