More festive one-shot ideas
No one screamed, “stop!” after I jotted down some festive one-shot ideas last month. So, emboldened, here are some more!
The Abominable Snowmen
A village nestled amidst snow-capped mountains is under siege by an army of abominable snowmen. The creatures, corrupted by an ancient evil, relentlessly attack the villagers and their homes. The heroes must venture into the icy peaks to uncover the source of the corruption and defeat the snowmen’s leader, a monstrous ice golem.
The Lost Gifts of Winter’s Feast
On the night of Winter’s Feast, a grand celebration in honour of the winter solstice, the gifts intended for the village children mysteriously vanish. The heroes must track down the thief, a mischievous sprite known as the Jack Frost, and retrieve the stolen gifts before the children’s holiday spirit is extinguished.
The Krampus Conundrum
Krampus, the fearsome companion of Father Winter, has been released from his icy prison and is wreaking havoc upon the town of Yuletide. The heroes must confront Krampus and his band of mischievous imps before they ruin Christmas for all.
The Stolen Star of Starlight
The Star of Starlight, a magical artefact that guides Santa’s sleigh on Christmas Eve, has been stolen from its resting place in the Starlight Forest. The heroes must embark on a perilous journey through the enchanted woods and face treacherous obstacles and cunning creatures to retrieve the star before Santa’s sleigh is lost forever.
The Nightmare Before Christmas
Jack Skellington, the King of Halloween Town, grows weary of his spooky domain and becomes obsessed with taking over Christmas. The heroes must travel to Halloween Town and convince Jack to return to his rightful role before he inadvertently destroys both Halloween and Christmas. (Wha? Totally original!)
