The first trailer has just dropped for Prime Video‘s live-action video game adaptation of Fallout, and it looks absolutely incredible! Not only does it give you a good idea of what’s to come, it perfectly captures the game’s tone and overall aesthetic.
Those of you eagle-eyed enough to have spotted a ‘stand-by’ message before the new trailer went live were perhaps rewarded first, but either way it’s something Fallout fans will be pretty damn excited about, with Easter eggs a-plenty in this first trailer!
Fallout the series will be an original story that will become part of the canon of the games, about “haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. 200 years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind — and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird and highly violent universe waiting for them.”
What I love about the trailer is that it contains familiar factions, tech and creatures – including a Mister Handy! – as well as settings such as the vaults, and even a nod to Dogmeat.

Fallout will be released via Prime Video on April 12th, 2024, and I for one cannot wait!!!
