The 10th edition of the Game Awards is happening tonight, and you can watch the live stream right here! The streaming event kicks off at 12:15am (GMT) with the official ceremony start time of 12:30am – or 7:30pm ET – and will feature host Geoff Keighley.
So, what can we expect? Well, along with a plethora of trailers, gameplay clips, announcements and speeches, they’ll also announce that prized and most coveted Game of the Year award.
Competing for Game of the Year, we have Baldur’s Gate 3 and Alan Wake 2 leading the way with eight nominations, followed closely by Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 with seven under its belt. Super Mario Bros. Wonder and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom both have five nominations, and finally the Resident Evil 4 remake is coming in last with four.
There will be 31 total awards given during the awards show – with Nintendo raking in the most nominations – and you can watch the whole thing below via YouTube, or tune in on Twitch.
*sigh* I wish I had time to actually play games these days. If I did, I might be able to contribute more of an opinion – however, I do think Baldur’s Gate has a damn good shot.
Will you be watching? Which game do you reckon will win Game of the Year? Let me know in the comments!
