The trailer has just dropped for Netflix and Harlan Coben‘s new murder mystery drama series Fool Me Once, in which a woman thinks she’s just become a widow through the murder of her husband… but has she, though??
Probably not, based on the trailer, and going by everything mystery drama-related Harlan Coben’s ever been involved with… ever.
Here’s the official description:
Maya as she’s trying to come to grips with the brutal murder of her husband Joe. However, when Maya installs a nanny cam, she’s shocked to see a man that she recognizes in her house. It’s her husband, whom she believed to be dead. From there, Detective Sergeant Sami Kierce leads the homicide investigation into Joe’s death. But he has secrets of his own.
It also stars Michelle Keegan -who’s always good to watch – alongside Adeel Akhtar, Richard Armitage, Joanna Lumley, Emmett J. Scanlan, and Dino Fetscher. Watch the trailer below:
Fool Me Once is actually the eighth collab between Coben and Netflix, and follows on from the likes of The Stranger, Safe, and Stay Close.
This new series will debut on January 1, 2024 – because what better way to start the year than working out WTF happened to this woman’s husband, am I right?
