Colour me interested, but listen to my mantra, “I don’t need another sweater”.
What’s tempting me? Fun’s Beholder Sweater.
I was disappointed in the reaction to my Christmas sweater; perhaps I should abandon my 2024 Christmas Hai Satan (too soon?) plans and go for this instead.
Fun.com’s officially licensed D&D monster jumper is 55% acrylic and 45% cotton, and the Beholder is a knit. The details say, “Rib knit collar, sleeve cuffs and hemline”, which I translate as better quality than some of my impulse purchases at midnight online.
At the time of writing, Fun has XS to 3X sizes American but sadly, I don’t see it at all on Fun.co.uk.
Beholder facts!
- Beholders have appeared in every edition of D&D since their debut in 1975.
- They have spawned numerous variations, including undead “Death Tyrants” and benevolent “Spectators.”
- Their eyestalks are prized trophies for adventurers, sometimes repurposed as spellcasting components.
The Beholder Sweater isn’t the only new licensed D&D merch the geeky retailer has listed after Christmas. There’s also this D&D classic monster backpack.
