In 2019, Mike Belsole and Grace Kendall founded the Tabletop Mentorship Program to offer micro-grants and connect industry experts.
Now, we have the Tabletop Mentorship Program by Unpub as the Tabletop Mentorship Program has joined The Unpublished Games Network, aka Unpub.
Michael Belsole and Grace Kendall said in a press release;
We are thrilled that the Tabletop Mentorship Program is joining Unpub! The program was growing at an incredible pace, and it became difficult for us to steward by ourselves. With Unpub’s support and leadership, TMP can flourish to help more and more designers, publishers, artists, and anyone else working in tabletop games. Unpub was a huge part of both of our design journeys, and we couldn’t be happier to be able to contribute to strengthening their already fantastic organization.
Unpub, which is managed by Heather O’Neill, is a community of game designers, artists, retailers and publishers who push towards new and unique tabletop games.
While the Network, which was started in 2010 by John Moller, began in the Mid-Atlantic part of the USA, it’s been growing.
Benjamin Begeal, Director, Unpub, told the press;
Unpub is striving to bring more to game designers than just playtesting. Our long term approach is to have playtesting, pitching, mentorship, and education, all under the Unpub umbrella.“
