Feeling excited for Tekken 8? Can’t remember what the hell happened in the plot up until now? Well, you’re in luck, because ahead of Tekken 8‘s release, Brian Cox has hilariously narrated the entire plot for you.
And I actually found it incredibly helpful, because even though I used to love Tekken when I was younger, and usually end up buying the latest Tekken game, I’ve only ever had the vaguest idea of what the bloody hell was going on in the story half the time.
All I know is that it’s fun, I find the characters comforting, and I almost died laughing when my partner got so annoyed at the fact TekkenBowl didn’t obey the laws of physics, he rage quit the game.

Tekken 8 is an upcoming action arcade 3D multiplayer fighting game developed by Bando Namci Studios. Developed in Unreal Engine 5, players will experience the next installment in the iconic fighting franchise fitted with new gameplay mechanics like the Heat System, new game modes such as Arcade Quest, and an all-new phase in the story as Kazuya continues his conquest for global domination, using the forces of G Corporation to wage war on the world. So, Jin Kazama may be about to save the entire fate of humanity this time, instead of just throwing his dad or grandad off a cliff… nice. Don’t know about you, but that video brought back so much nostalgia for me! Although, I much preferred Nina. And fighting against the big scary robot Jack boi.
Tekken 8 will be released on January 26th for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
