Every year, EN Publishing releases, via a crowdfunder, a hardcover gazette to compile the previous editions of the Advanced 5E Level Up magazine.
The current gazette is live on Kickstarter, many times over the funding goal and offering the core rulebooks. The campaign runs until the 8th of February, and you can get involved from the pitch page.
The gazette of Advanced 5e rules will offer the following;
- More than 30 fantasy dangers exploring adventurers might encounter, such as locust swarms or hateful mists.
- 29 archetypes, including the fighter’s Houndmaster or the artificer’s Synaptic Surgeon.
- 14 different cultures for D&D-style settings like the astral pirates called the Children of Zev.
- 5 heritages
- 10 backgrounds, including Aeronauts
- 3 destinies
- 4 feats
- 3 combat traditions, including Gallant Heart
- 14 magic items
- 8 sets of cultural gear
- More than 20 monsters, Rime Ant Queens and Xeraz the Vicious included
- More than 30 5e spells
- 8 Warlock invocations
- 8 fantasy holidays
- 5 notable organisations
- The corruption condition
- A new stronghold type
- 6 compelling NPCs
The core books are printed via a high quality offset print run, with sewn binding and two ribbon book marks. Deluxe limited editions with gold foil detailing and faux leather are also available.
Backers who pledge £20 or more will get the Gate Pass Gazette Annuals 2023 as a PDF and get access to add-ons.
The 2022 Gazette is added to the rewards for backers at £35.
Alternatively, at £35, the print and PDF of the 2023 Gazette Annual are possible rewards for Patreon backers. If you’re not a Patreon, then the £45 tier is the one you have to select instead.
The hardback editions of both books, 2022 and 2023, are the rewards at £75, and they also come with the PDFs.
At £90, backers are rewarded with the PDFs plus digital editions of A5e’s Adventurer’s Guide, Trials & Treasures and the Monstrous Menagerie. At £150, still in digital, backers get all 10 of the Advanced 5e products.
Backers need to find £200 to get the A5E core rules and the Gazettes in print and £400 for the complete set of 10.
Morrus and team expect PDFs to be with backers in February and for the print books to be ready by July.
