If you’ve been having sleepless nights wondering which is the most popular Pokémon, fear no longer – The Toy Zone has got’choo covered, having taken the time to rank meticulously rank them based on each country’s Google searches.
That’s right, they looked at search volumes of all 1,016 Pokémon species around the world, to find every country’s most uniquely popular Pokémon. That’s pretty cool, although perhaps the results aren’t too surprising.
Pikachu wins out… again
Predictably, Pikachu is still the most searched for Pokémon globally. However, in the UK, the most uniquely popular Pokémon is actually Porygon-Z.
I wish I knew more about Pokémon these days, as maybe then I’d know who that was. Maybe I should Google to… nah, that would just add to the stats.
Other key findings from the report include the most uniquely popular Pokémon in the U.S. is Mime Jr, while Vaporeon is the most uniquely popular in three South American countries (Argentina, Colombia, and Uruguay), and for Australia it’s Mr Rime! Well then.
