The trailer has just dropped for a dark, twisted and low budget take on the Lewis Carroll classic via High Fliers Films, giving us a glimpse of what we can expect from Alice in Terrorland.
The poster alone is giving me ‘bad AI art vibes’ if I’m honest – all it’s missing are some wonky fingers.
Here’s the official blurb:
A recently bereaved teenage girl goes to live with her aunt in a secluded woodland house, unaware that sinister forces lurk within.
Directed by Richard John Taylor, it’s got some familiar-if-you-squint Alice in Wonderland characters, all looking rather worse for wear from some kind of Hell dimension. And the story appears to be perhaps set in an asylum. Fun!
The film stars Rula Lenska, Steve Wraith, Jon-Paul Gates, and Rikki Kimpton, and you’ll be able to catch Alice in Terrorland when it’s released on DVD on 13th February.
