Mike Lafferty and Fainting Goat Games are in Zine Quest this year and a micro-setting for Savage Worlds.
Raiders of the Ghost Zone is 20 pages of eerie darkness and derelict space hulks. The campaign runs only until February 15th
The campaign has hit its modest funding goal, and we know what to expect. Raiders of the Ghost Zone will have a bestiary of both extraterrestrial and supernatural horrors, a derelict generator to set adventures in, and starship maps pre-loaded with secrets and artwork.
FROM THE PERSONAL LOG OF SCAVENGER DAISY ROMERO
There’s weird stuff in the Zone. Astromaps that lead to previ- ously unknown alien civilizations, science lab computers that have cures for diseases that Core World scientists haven’t been able to figure out, and cloning tech centuries ahead of anything we’ve got. I’ve heard rumors of trans-dimensional portals and nanotech that maybe can make a carbon based life-form basically immortal. How much do you think some aging fat-cat in the Core Worlds would pay for a shot at that?
Yeah – there are fortunes to be made, especially if you know the right contacts who can find buyers for the weird stuff.
There are three backing tiers; the first is at only $3. Fainting Goat fans, new or old, who are having tough times can get a PDF copy of the zine. Those who are not struggling should look at the $6 tier for the same.
The last tier, $8, also includes a print-on-demand coupon that lets backers print the zine from DriveThruRPG without Fainting Goat making any extra money. The printing and shipping costs must still be paid to DTRPG, though.
The estimated delivery for Raiders of the Ghost Zone is this April.
