Marvel Studios has finally released the trailer for – the now officially titled – Deadpool & Wolverine! And it looks absolutely bloody awesome.
In it, Deadpool (played by Ryan Reynolds) is shown getting sucked into the Marvel Cinematic Universe where he’ll take on a whole new adventure. You don’t get to see much to Hugh Jackman as Wolverine yet, but just enough to know it’s (probably) going to rock.
The trailer also boasts plenty of action and humour, which is a good signal for fans of the first two movies. The official synopsis reads:
After facing some professional setbacks while going through a midlife crisis. Wade Wilson decides to officially retire Deadpool and becomes a used car salesman. But when his friends, family, and the whole world are at stake, Deadpool decides to bring his katanas out of retirement. He recruits an unwilling and wary Wolverine to not only fight for their survival, but ultimately, their legacy.
Another, much briefer synopsis, that was also released a wee while ago, reads:
That f–king irresponsible hero Deadpool will change the history of the MCU with Wolverine!?
Check out the official trailer below – it looks pretty damn awesome (aside from Reynolds’ wig).
You’ll be able to watch Deadpool & Wolverine when it’s out in cinemas on 26th July. I can’t wait (but I will).
