A professionally narrated audiobook of Pinnacle Entertainment Group’s popular Savage Worlds rule system has passed its funding goal.
The pitch which resonates with me is that you might be too busy to read all the books you have, so why not listen to them while you do something else? At the time of writing, there’s about a week left to join the Kickstarter push.
Savage Worlds Adventure Edition, or “SWADE”, is the latest edition, which the audiobook covers. The system works for storytelling and narrative style games to mini-based tactical dungeon crawls.
Some popular SWADE or SWD settings are Deadlands, from PEG, which is perhaps the most popular ‘weird west’ setting out there, there’s RIFTS in SWADE, campus hijinks with a kiss of Lovecraft in East Texas University, a SWADE for The Last Parsec and let’s not forget the 12-year-old 50 Fathoms.
