Described as a first of its kind, D&D has agreed a license deal to sell 50th anniversary “Dome of Destiny Automatic Dice Spinners”.
Licensing Biz has news of FanRoll signing a partnership with Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro. The headline is that FanRoll’s premium dice coming to brands like Monopoly, Risk, Clue, Betrayal at House on the Hill and HeroQuest.
In 2023, FanRoll rebranded from Metallic Dice Games to its current name. We might well conclude that these premium dice will be metal.
There will be premium dice for D&D’s 50th but it was news of the “Dome of Destiny Automatic Dice Spinner” that caught this blogger’s attention.
Bradley Bowman, senior director, Global Toy, Licensed Consumer Products at Hasbro, told the press;
With an iconic portfolio of brands under the Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast umbrella, we are mindful to engage best-in-class partners that can help to deliver what fans really want. After seeing the innovation that FanRoll is bringing to the category, we knew that it would be the perfect partner. The fact that this is lining up with Dungeons & Dragon’s 50th anniversary gives us an opportunity to truly serve the fans who have been loyal for so many years.”
Official images of FanRoll’s new 20 plus products will debut at GAMA Expo, which is on right now, and some are circulating already. What we see here is surely the D&D Spinner.
