We’ve been preparing for this moment for weeks, and finally, it’s here – that’s right, LEGO has now revealed, in all its glory, its massive Dungeons & Dragons 50th anniversary collab!
The LEGO Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale was designed by fan Lucas “BoltBuilds” Bolt who won a community Lego Ideas contest, and comes in at 3,745 pieces.
We love the look of this set, and feel it it encompasses the spirit of D&D perfectly, with all our favourites – including a gelatinous cube, owlbear, a displacer beast, and even a beholder!
Another super cool thing about this set is that is comes with a modularly designed castle that can be split apart into five smaller vignettes – and, of course, there’s the massive red dragon, Cinderhowl!
The set will set you back £314.99 and will be available on April 4th – or April 1st to LEGO Insiders – via the official LEGO website.
In the meantime, check out this beautiful behemoth of a set below:
Unfortunately there’s no way to pre-order this, so get yourselves – and your bank accounts – ready for April 4th, I guess. You’ll be able to order your very own 50th anniversary D&D LEGO set right here.
What do you think the LEGO Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale upon first inspection – is it everything you dreamed of? And, more importantly, will you be buying it?! Let me know below.
