In exciting news, we have a teaser trailer for a new film from Poor Things director Yorgos Lanthimos, starring Emma Stone and Willem Dafoe – it’s called Kinds of Kindness, and it looks fabulous.
Also included in the film’s cast are Margaret Qualley, Jesse Plemons, Hong Chau, Joe Alwyn, Mamoudou Athie, and Hunter Schafer.
Kinds of Kindness is described as a “triptych fable, following a man without choice who tries to take control of his own life; a policeman who is alarmed that his wife who was missing-at-sea has returned and seems a different person; and a woman determined to find a specific someone with a special ability, who is destined to become a prodigious spiritual leader.”
Just from watching the trailer alone, I wouldn’t have necessarily gotten any of that, but I was totally on board anyway – which is a good sign in itself!
I don’t know about you, but it really does feel like we’re having a particularly good run of trailers and teasers at the moment!
Kinds of Kindness will, rather delightfully, be released on 21st June by Searchlight, and it’s coming to selected cinemas.
