What is the Cepheus Engine?
In 2017, Jason “Flynn” Kemp of Samardan Press created a powerhouse system called the Cepheus Engine. Inspired by the original 1977-81 “little black books” of Classic Traveller, the Cepheus Engine draws from Mongoose Publishing’s Traveller (2008) released under the Open Game License. It’s designed to deliver a gameplay experience faithful to that classic sci-fi feel.
