From one weird trailer to another, the full trailer for Kinds of Kindness has just been released by Searchlight, and to be honest I have more questions now than I did from the teaser. However, the film, from Poor Things director Yorgos Lanthimos, looks off the chain in all the right ways.
Featuring a star-studded cast, including Emma Stone, Willem Dafoe, Margaret Qualley, Jesse Plemons, Hong Chau, Joe Alwyn, Mamoudou Athie, Hunter Schafer, and Krystal Alayne Chambers, I actually can’t wait for this one.
Here’s the official synopsis:
From visionary director Yorgos Lanthimos, Kinds of Kindness is a triptych fable, following a man without choice who tries to take control of his own life; a policeman who is alarmed that his wife who was missing-at-sea has returned and seems a different person; and a woman determined to find a specific someone with a special ability, who is destined to become a prodigious spiritual leader.

I’m so glad we don’t have long to wait for this one, as Kinds of Kindness will be released on 14th June!
