The Lillithea Quickstart print edition and some impressive collectable coins debuted at the UK Games Expo 2024.
Nightfall Games, known for the grim SLA Industries and brutal The Terminator RPG, will develop with the popular fantasy illustrator Anne Stokes the Lillithea setting. Lillithea will use 5e and is a YA+/young adult in tone setting.
In D&D’s 5e rules, characters and magical NPCs can summon creatures. Lillithea is the world from which these summoned come from. In the Lillithea rules, player characters can be animals or magical beasts like Wyrmlings.
A British artist, Anne Stokes, has illustrated for many D&D core books (and the occasional Norwegian gothic metal band). Lillithea features Anne’s art, some of which are favourites from elsewhere and others created by Anne just for the RPG.
The fantasy art of Anne Stokes features striking designs and life like portrayals of fantasy subjects. Her art covers a broad range of themes, from the romantic and magical enchanted Forest, to the dark underworld of gothic vampires. The pay what you want quickstart has PCs rescue a kidnapped wyrmling (and they can play one to) in a sampler that introduces some of the modified rules along with the adventure.
Geek Native understands that a core book is coming and presumes crowdfunding will be involved. Benn Graybeaton, Elsa, and Mark Rapson are the project’s writers.
