As part of this purchase, Mantic will be taking on River Horse’s licensed games and universes, and Alessio Cavatore will be joining Mantic to work on product and games design as they continue to bring you truly exceptional tabletop experiences.
Previously, the two companies have worked closely together on projects like the Umbrella Academy game and Worms.
Consolidation is all the buzz this week with Steamforged Games taking control of Warmachine and Iron Kingdoms from Privateer Press while Roll20 bought Demiplane.
In the excitement the River Horse Facebook Page has posted the same news article 9 times. This isn’t likely to be a disgruntled employee, just an easy mistake to make with a glitching scheduler, but it might give some people cause to double-take!
