A new trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine has just been released by Marvel Studios, apparently as part of ‘Best Friends Day’. I mean, why not?
The trailer was shared on Twitter (c’mon, you know we’re always going to deadname it) by Hugh Jackman and it’s definitely worth a watch, which lots of exciting new footage we haven’t seen yet. Plus, there’s even a tease of Lady Deadpool, which means it’s definitely happening!
It looks like it’s going to be an incredibly fun movie, and we’re already psyched here at Geek Native.
Here’s the official synopsis:
Marvel Studios presents their most significant mistake to date – Deadpool & Wolverine. A listless Wade Wilson toils away in civilian life. His days as the morally flexible mercenary, Deadpool, behind him. When his homeworld faces an existential threat, Wade must reluctantly suit-up again with an even more reluctantlier… reluctanter? Reluctantest? He must convince a reluctant Wolverine to – Fu-k. Synopses are so f–king stupid.
The movie’s main antagonist is Cassandra Nova, otherwise known as the evil twin sister of X-Men’s Professor Charles Xavier, who apparently poses a threat to the multiverse. This leads to Deadpool and Wolverine changing the history of the MCU as they go on a wild ride across the multiverse in an attempt to save it.

Deadpool & Wolverine is directed by Shawn Levy and stars Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, Stefan Kapicic, Matthew Macfadyen, and Leslie Uggams. We’ll also see, amongst others, Brianna Hildebrand, Shioli Kutsuna, and Jennifer Garner!
Luckily we won’t have too long to wait now, as the movie will be released on the 26th July!
