We’ve got a rad new trailer for Nickelodeon‘s new animated series Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and it looks super fun!
The series is brought to us by the same studios as the recent film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, and it’s going to continue the story where the movie left off, with 12 awesome new episodes!
Even better, the same cast from the movie will be reprising their roles, so we’ll get Micah Abbey as Donatello, Shamon Brown Jr. as Michelangelo, Nicolas Cantu as Leonardo, Brady Noon as Raphael and Ayo Edebiri as April O’Neil. Very cool indeed!
Here’s the official description:
The Turtles will be challenged like never before as Leo, Raph, Donnie and Mikey each go it alone for the first time. Faced with new threats and teaming up with old allies, the Turtles will discover who they really are when they don’t have their brothers at their sides.
Here’s what Ramsey Naito, president of Paramount Animation & Nickelodeon Animation had to say: “Reinvigorating this franchise has been years in the making, and we are thrilled to continue expanding the beloved Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles universe and bringing new adventures to families and fans.”
I’m utterly stoked we’re seeing more of the turtles from the same people behind the movie, as a long-time turtles fan and all. Bring it on, and thanks, Nickelodeon!
We don’t have a date for Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles yet, but the series will premiere exclusively on Paramount+, and you can also check out the super cool new poster below.
