Fancy draping a gelatinous cube around your dog or cat? Oh, wait, a Gelatinous Cube-inspired gelatinous cute?
WitchHunt is on Kickstarter with an effort to crowdfund D&D-style leashes for dogs and cats. The Belfast-based business has two weeks to hit the £5k pledge goal, and you can see progress on the pitch page.
We’re now used to TTRPG’s influence in fashion, and who doesn’t have a geeky T-shirt? What about pets, though?
Familiars’ Finery aims to even the score with dog and cat collars and, in the add-ons, leads, bows and bandanas.
The cat collars have plastic pull-release buckles to help prevent the cat from getting caught, and the dog collars are made of nylon weave with a comfortable neoprene interior.
There are three styles;
- The green of gelatinous cute.
- The light pink of arcane prism.
- The blue of azure wyrm.
Each collar, lead and bandana comes with an iconic rubber D20 patch that any TTRPG-lover will instantly recognise. This little detail really makes the collar stand out in terms of quality and style.
Backers who pledge £10 can receive one cat collar and access to the add-ons. At £12, they are rewarded with the larger dog collar instead.
There’s a leap up to £42, and backers get 1 dog collar, lead, collar bow, bandana, and personalised name tag.
There have been other tiers, but they’ve sold out, and I suspect WitchHunt is now on the hunt for gaming dog owners, perhaps gamers who’ve just bought a puppy and need a collar.
WitchHunt will run the campaign until June 27th, and they estimate the delivery will be around December of this year.
