It’s not every tabletop RPG that has its own music video, so let’s begin with that for Queerz.
Queerz is the LGBTQ+ and ally-created RPG from Son of Oak Game Studio, known for City of Mist. Steven Pope was the lead writer on the project, and it’s based on the manga by Isago Fukada.
It’s the super sentai manga from which we get this art, used with permission, and which accompanies the news that the TTRPG is now available from Japanime Games’ webstore.

The Queerz! RPG Basic Box provides a comprehensive introduction to the game. It features two rulebooks—the Player Guide and MC Guide—that utilize a learn-as-you-play format through two engaging adventures. The box also includes dice and pre-generated character folios from the QUEERZ! manga, location maps, cards, and a team card.
For players seeking to expand their experience, the Queerz! Creator Guide empowers them to craft unique series, characters, and villains. It provides safety tools and guidance for creating custom settings, rapid and customizable character creation options, and detailed instructions for designing Justice Knights, Pawns, Ignorance Constructs, and Inner Space.
Additionally, the Queerz! Adventure Anthology enriches the game with five new adventures, each offering a distinct theme and style. These adventures range from the humorously Lovecraftian “Hold The Pickles (And The Apocalypse)” to the exploration of toxic masculinity in “Savage Spears,” the examination of prejudice in “Hero Support,” the challenge of a reflective foe in “Mirror Mirror,” and the sensory experience of “A Feast For The Senses.”
