A new featurette for A Quiet Place: Day One has just been released by Paramount Pictures, and is an instant hit with cat lovers.
The video’s main focus is on the cat character, Frodo, played by two cats named Nico and Schnitzel. I haven’t seen it yet, but Frodo seems to play a significant part in the story.
Star Lupita Nyong’o mentions how she wasn’t talking a fan of cats before production started on the movie, but they’ve since changed her mind and now she apparently loves them.
A Quiet Place: Day One is a prequel to the previous two films, and shows that happened when the aliens first arrived on Earth. It’s got a much bigger budget than the original two, and looks fairly epic.
In the movie, “a woman named Sam (Nyong’o) on a day trip to the city must survive an invasion in New York of bloodthirsty alien creatures with ultrasonic sound hearing.”
A Quiet Place: Day One was directed by Michael Sarnoski (Pig), and along with Nyong’o, the movie stars Joseph Quinn, Alex Wolff, and Djimon Hounsou.
A Quiet Place: Day One is out right now here in the UK, and will be released in the US on 28th June.
What do you think of this charming featurette? And have you seen the movie yet? Let me know your thoughts in the comments.
