Superhero Week: Disney presents "What if… Donald Duck became Wolverine"

Are you a fan of the What if…? series? Darkwing Duck? Okay, what about spikey claw duck?

Marvel Comics celebrates Donald Duck and Wolverine’s anniversaries with a unique crossover comic: “What If…? Donald Duck Became Wolverine #1”. This one-shot reimagines Donald as Wolverine, complete with adamantium claws and a berserker rage, as he teams up with Mickey-Hawkeye and Goofy-Hulk to battle the villainous Pete-Skull.

The comic revisits key moments in Wolverine’s history with a Disney twist, including his time with Weapon X and the X-Men. Available July 31st, this mashup promises a fun and unexpected adventure for fans of both universes.

Luca Barbieri, the writer, told press;

Donald Duck and Wolverine are two characters that seem almost impossible to make coexist, but in fact they possess very similar personality: they are both hot-tempered and unlucky, but in adversity they do not lose heart and always show that they have a big heart. Once this point was focused, writing the story turned out to be easy and fun.”

Those pointy head tufts and thick sideburns go well with his shaggy being. I had so much fun adapting Wolverine’s hair to Donald Duck that I would do him like this all the time now!”
