Some parts of the world are watching sportsball, but not us. We’re here for tabletop news.
In fact, here comes the TTRPG summary of summaries!
- Was Gary Gygax sexist? The internet debates but he seems to have proudly worn the badge.
- SDCC is threatening to quit the city.
- The first previews of the new Conan RPG are out
GenCon is from August 3rd to the 6th, and you might be wondering whether team Geek Native should take time off from our day jobs, hop on planes, and fly to the Indiana Convention Centre. Nope, we don’t.
Do we take a vacation and blog from home? Not that, either.
Why not? Well, we’re based in Edinburgh, have an Edinburgh reviews sister site, and this mammoth monster known as the festival season lasts all August. That’s the International Festival, Fringe, the Books Festival, the Science Festival, and others. Instead, we work 20-hour days covering local arts and culture. It’s hardcore.
On with the news!
