I met Slightly Reckless Games at the UK Games Expo this year and put them on TikTok with Ronin in min as Berserkr! This was just a teaser.
Now, the OSR-vibe TTRPG is smashing targets on Kickstarter. Berserkr asked for £12,000 to find. There’s more than three weeks for the money to come, but we’re almost at 1,000 backers and £60,000 in pledges. You can see progress on the pitch page.
Characters in Berserkr! shape the fate of more than one world, invoking the Viking idea of nine realms and a Ragnarok that can and will destroy them all.
In the cinematic TTRPG, the decisions will steer the apocalypse, kill gods, and shape the cosmos.
The world rules use runes used to cast spells, enhance armour or weapons in the game and the Valhalla Mechanic for dead heroes.
We’re also promised lots of F*@ing Tables. Those are Slightly Reckless words, not mine.

The hardcover will be 120+ pages, and backers can unlock it for £35, along with a copy of the PDF and tokens.
Berserkr! character sheets on a tear-off pad are added to the rewards at £45.
Backers reaching £55 get the character sheets and the limited edition Berserkr! hardcover.
Ronin is also available through Kickstarter, with hardcover copies of both books available to backers at £60 and limited editions of both at £80.
There are tiers at £100 and £150 to add stretch goals, zines, and a retailer tear.
Slightly Reckless Games estimates a September 2025 delivery, except for the digital-only apocalypse due in July. The campaign runs until the 8th of August.
