The final trailer has just dropped for Fede Alvarez‘s Alien: Romulus and it’s absolutely epic – along with brutal, and in places, terror inducing. Are you ready?
Set between Alien and Aliens, Alien: Romulus follows a “group of young people on a distant world who find themselves in a confrontation with the most terrifying life form in the universe.”
The films stars Cailee Spaeny, Isabela Merced, Archie Renaux (Shadow and Bone), Spike Fearn (Aftersun), and newcomer Aileen Wu, and is said to most likely traumatise underage viewers who sneak into the movie. I don’t know about underage, it may very well have that effect on me! Kidding, I love this stuff.
With Ridley Scott as producer, and some of the original team behind the first couple of movies, there’s been nothing but good vibes about Alien: Romulus so far – and going by this trailer, it’s going to be one hell of a watch. Check it out:
Alien: Romulus will be released on 16th August, which for me can’t come soon enough!
