It’s Gen Con season, and we’re getting D&D news aplenty. As ICv2 points out, WizKids is releasing a new range called Dungeons & Dragons Gamelings.
Dungeons & Dragons Gamelings are collectable wooden tokens that will be available in North American retail stores in November this year.
As well as being collectable, the wooden Gamelings are intended to be optional upgraded meeples or game pieces for board games. Why move a boot around a Monopoly board when it could be a Beholder?
An initial release will be Iconic Monsters and that will include;
1 x Beholder,
1 x Displacer Beast,
1 x Owlbear,
1 x Gelatinous Cube,
1 x Intellect Devourer,
1 x Mimic.
(Unless they’re all Mimics)
The other set is a single 4″ tall red dragon meeple.
