Maestro Media have The Smurfs license and is taking pre-orders on the The Smurfs: Hidden Village board game.
The company is also going to launch a Kickstarter for The Smurfs Roleplaying Game, and a copy of the board game will be included (presumably at a suitably high tier) for backers in the first hour.
The pre-Kickstarter alert page for the Smurfs RPG is live.
Anyone who swaps their email address can receive a free quickstart guide for the TTRPG. This might be worth doing if you’re interested in getting that free board game.
The quickstart will be 18 pages long, which is enough for the core rules and an intro adventure called Papa Smurf Goes Missing!
There’s also a private Smurfs RPG Design group on Facebook, which will be shared with those who sign up.
Kevin Borrup and Jonathan Gilmour-Long designed The Smurfs Roleplaying Game. They have not revealed the smurfing system, but I don’t spy any five logos on the preview art.
