The trailer has just dropped for a new DC documentary called Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story, and it looks like a very fascinating and poignant watch.
The documentary covers Christopher Reeve‘s journey from being a classical actor, to landing his pivotal role of Superman from 1978 to 1987, and how everything changed in 1995 when he was paralysed from a horse riding accident.
The trailer also shows how Reeve became a powerful disability activist, and changed the world for the better, becoming a real-life hero to so many people.
It looks like such an inspiring watch, that also contains talk show footage alongside home video footage of Reeve’s family life.
There’s also interview footage of Susan Sarandon, and Reeves’ children, Alexandra Reeve Givens and Matthew Reeve — who is set to cameo in the upcoming Superman film from James Gunn.
